The Upcott Weeks are an important part of our vision to encourage and facilitate young people to discover and pursue God's best for their lives. What really makes them special is that we are able to keep God at the centre of everything we do in a way that is hard in everyday life. 
Everything during the weeks is relevant and accessible to the age group of the young people the week is for. Biblical teaching means they grow in their knowledge of God. Variety in worship and prayer allows everyone to meet with God in a personal and life changing way. Creativity is another important part of the Upcott Weeks and we love to help young people to discover, use and develop their God-given talents, whatever they may be.

Because there is still a planning restriction in place on our property, we can only currently accept 15 young people for each week. We are in the process of appealing against the restriction, and we will keep waiting lists for the weeks, so that if the appeal is successful, we can increase the number on each week to 20.

A fun filled programme mixes games and activities with worship, prayer and teaching. There is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the Beacon, the swimming pool and the grounds; as well as a trip on the West Somerset Steam Railway and the new Hunt the Helper challenge.
Wide games, water fights and making films for Upcott TV. As well as all that, worship, prayer and teaching that gives you the chance to meet with God and grow in your relationship with Him.
Use the gifts and abilities that God has given you to prepare and run a session for the rest of the group on one of this year's themes. There will also be opportunities to take the lead in the worship and prayer times. Don't worry: there's lots of time to chill out - activities include swimming, football, uni-hoc, wide games on Exmoor and the Tops Challenge.
Come to be active and involved; ignite a passion for God; discover a vision for how God can use you now and for the rest of your life. You will get the opportunity to run sessions and lead worship and prayer; we aim to encourage and facilitate you to use the talents that God has given you.
These Involve weeks have developed out of our desire to encourage young people to use their God-given abilities and provide opportunities for them to do just that.
On the video week we produce short films as introductions to the themes on the Smiley and Tweens weeks. There is also a weekend in November for anyone who want to be involved in advance planning for the films.
The work week is a chance to use your practical skills to help the Upcott Team with maintenance on the house and grounds, to prepare for the year ahead.
The music weekend will focus on writing as well as performing and is for those with a reasonable level of competence.
The art weekend is an opportunity to explore worshipping God through art in its various forms.
Come and celebrate the New Year with your Upcott friends. There will be plenty of time to chill out as well as times of worship, prayer and teaching. Come prepared to give and receive in a relaxed atmosphere.
At your request we are re-introducing a pre-summer week for those of you who are a little bit older. We're really looking forward to this one!
The Vocation long weekend will be an opportunity to explore who you are and what God has called you to.
The Girls Only long weekend is just that, girls only, the theme this time is self image.
This is open to all those that have participated in the programme either with Upcott or Spirit of Excellence.
This is particularly for those who haven't helped before but it's also a great opportunity to meet up with the other helpers on your week, to pray, plan and prepare.
We thought it would be fun to have a weekend for those who haven't been in a while, particularly those from the Smiley Weeks 1990-95. We're hoping to have at least one guest speaker from that era!
An opportunity for youth leaders of those who come, or those who came who are now youth leaders to spend some time together, share, encourage, and pray for each other.
