Directions
Whether you come through Tiverton, Bridgwater or Taunton, you will enter Minehead on the A39. Follow this road right into the centre of the town.
In the town centre, where A39 bends sharply left, turn right onto The Parade. Turn left opposite W.H. Smith's onto Blenheim Road. Take the first left up Martlet Road.
As you come to the war memorial on your left, and the road bends left around it, you will see a right hand turn forked into two. Take the left-hand fork of these two (Burgundy Road), which is pretty much carrying on in the same direction you've been travelling.
As you get up the hill, there is a hairpin left hand bend for you to follow, and then you follow the road (which is now Beacon Road) to its end.
At the end of the road, The Beacon is on the right hand side. There are two houses which share a drive, and we are the large house on the right.
