Give to Upcott

We would love you to partner with us in encouraging young people to go for God's best by supporting us financially. We rely on regular and one-off giving to meet our financial needs.

It would be great if you could support us whether that's by setting up a regular Standing Order, giving us a one-off gift by cheque, 'just text giving' via your mobile phone, or even by helping us raise funds in ways that don't cost you anything! We are a registered charity and are able to claim Gift Aid on donations from UK tax payers.

Become a Regular Giver

Our regular givers keep the work of Upcott going. We rely on this type of income to help us meet our monthly costs such as food, wages, energy, water and regular maintenance.

Current Needs

Our building currently needs a large amount of maintenance work. Some of it is urgent and, if it isn't done, will lead to much bigger bills down the line. Our priorities are:

Redecorating the exterior of the building, including the conservatory;
Repairing the roof and the fascias;
Paying for some of the work that has already been done.

In order to achieve this we urgently need £15,000. Are you able to invest in The Beacon so that the work of Upcott can continue to bless people for years to come? Any contributions, however small (or big!), will help us reach this target.

Remember your giving becomes even more effective when Gift-Aided. If you are a tax payer, we can claim an additional £20 through Gift-Aid for every £100 given.

Text Donations

You can now donate to Upcott via your mobile phone.

Text: UPCO11 followed by the amount you'd like to give to: 70070

100% of your text donation will go to Upcott. There's no cost to you for sending the text message and your free allowance/bundle won't be deducted.

All you have to do is text our unique code (please note only the last two digits are numbers) along with your donation amount to 70070.

This donation amount will then be charged to your phone bill as usual (or deducted from your pay-as-you-go credit).

Donations can only be in the amount of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5, and £10. If you'd like to claim Gift Aid on your donation just follow the instructions on the reply text from Just Text Giving.

Raise Money for Upcott Online

Can you help us to raise money whenever you shop online or search the web?

It's very simple - register at: www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/avct/ and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more.

Whenever you decide to buy something online find the retailer you want to shop with on the easyfundraising website. Click on the link and proceed as normal. Then if you buy something, the retailer will make a donation to Upcott, and it won't cost you a penny extra!

They've already helped other causes raise £2,000,000, so it really does work!

Another simple way to help us raise money is to use easysearch.org.uk whenever you search the web, instead of Google and other search engines (search results are provided by Yahoo and Bing). For every search you make, they will make a donation to Upcott. If 50 people made just 10 searches a day, it would raise around £1000 for Upcott each year.
